Another Ford racer is gone
« on: February 05, 2006, 03:08:44 AM »
I heard from one of my car buddies in Orange today that "Dyno" Don Nicholson passed away on Jan.24
of complications from Alzheimer's. He was a drag racer all his life and raced various Fords from 1963 to
1980. In the early 70's he raced a Pro Stock 72 Pinto with 351 C power for a couple years. You can
read about Don at dynodon.com and nhra.com

Sorry to hear that he was one of my favorites in the 70's.  I posted some pictures of his cars recently in General Pinto talk.  Here is one
1976 TURBO PINTO
1969 AMC AMX not a pinto, but I like it, fast for not being a FORD (It's different just like a PINTO)
