One car Show
« on: April 21, 2010, 08:38:18 PM »
OK? Every once in a while, I will take the Pinto to a show or cruise in just to see peoples reactions. So, A few weeks ago I wash and cleaned till my knuckles bled to get the car looking half way decent. About a mile down the road from me a local car care center was holding a cruise in. You had to RSVP because they only had parking spaces for 40 cars. What the heck, I'll give it a shot.
It started at 12 noon and I got there at 12:30. There was a black crossfire pulled into one spotwhen I got there. I backed in to a spot and we got out. The people were nice. It only took about 10 minutes before some one pulled up and asked if it was for sale.(another story later) The reaction from the few that were there was great. About an hour into the show the onwer of the place pulled his hummer around so I wouldn't feel left out. I WAS THE ONLY CAR THERE!
I was told that about 30 cars showed up for the first show. Don't get me wrong, The people were nice. THE ONLY CAR! How would you feel?  I felt like I got kicked in the gonads.Just can't get no respect
Go Ford, Go Fast Or Go Home!
