Post by: Pintony on October 26, 2007, 12:19:07 PM
Hello Group,
Take a look at this link I found here on fordpinto.com and tell me what you think...
 Id this Pinto a mock-up?
Looks like a straight axel in the front end shot.

That's not a real car, It's probably a fiberglass design/concept body for final approval before the dies are made for stamping the body panels, or preproduction show car.
It's on a turn table.

In a warehouse collecting dust...

In a warehouse ....hopefully. Would something like that not be a GEM to collect if it were really available? Man.....

im sure this can be done. me and my old man talked about doing this to his 73 if we put the new motor in his car. (i doubt if we will do it to his car. just cant see him coming up with the energy to do it maybe on our next v8 pinto.) maybe well do it to my 83 302 ranger.

I smell a roots movement for a Pinto Gasser....nice built 351W with a hillborn FI setup, some fender exit headers barking from behind the front tires, maybe even a "pony" keg fuel tank under the front grille?  Neat ideas!
