odd space question in a hatchback
« on: July 29, 2012, 10:51:04 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has tried putting a mountain bike in their hatchback.  If I can recall with my wagon they did indeed fit but can't remember how tight it was.  Just wondering if I got a hatchback if I could fit a bike in it with the seats down if someone has ever tried this.  Thanks!

I used to fit my 10-speed & two 20" BMX bikes in mine to go ride in the park with my kids. I couldn't close it but the bikes fit & I used a bungee to pull it down.
'73 Sedan(Pro Street 2.3Turbo eventually)
'76 Wagon driver(big plans ahead)
'80 hatch(Restoring to be my son's 1st car)
