Thanks to fellow PCCA member Robert who noticed the posting on the front page and tipped me off, my Pinto will be on a 48 Hours Mystery episode.   It films this Saturday, with multiple exterior and driving shots by the CBS News crew.  Thanks also to PCCA for posting the notice.
 
They were looking for an early model yellow wagon with wood paneling (aka Yellow Squire).   Well...who would have ever thought...that's an exact description of mine.
 
I'm not in town, so I won't be watching the filming, and yes...they have bought plenty of "agreed value" insurance.  The car will be inspected before and after the shoot in writing, so I feel I'm as safe as I can be under the circumstances.
 
I will post again once I know the date of the show.

Robert, that is gonna be a trip when you're watchin your Pinto in the episode!!     That's really cool.

I think the real question here is, "Where were you on that day in 1985?"   

Shoot came off without a hitch!   Show airs in the Fall.   I will re-post once the scheduled date is announced.
