Dad gave me his old diagnostic tools!
« on: March 15, 2008, 03:10:39 AM »
So my dad was cleaning out his tool box and since he doesn't own anything he feels he can fix without hassle, he gave me the rest of his automotive diagnostic tools!

Now I've got....

Sears Engine Analyzer
Sears Automatic Battery Charger
Sears Inductive Timing Light
Sears Remote Starter Switch
Vacuum/Fuel pump pressure gauge

All the Sears stuff was purchased in the early 80s. The analyzer and the battery charger are in their original boxes. The timing light and the remote starter switch were used lightly, but they should see some good use in the near future when I take them over to my friend's house to help him get his Jeep back on the road again.

All I need now is a compression tester and I'm pretty well set!

Guess what SEARS still makes them the same way and have limited parts for them and they even have some of the manuals.

Even better. I should see if I can get the manuals for everything but the analyzer (already have its documentation). Would be nice for my kid, when I have one, to hand it down to.

Hello dave1987,
Nice score on the Sears automotive diagnostic tools!!!
I need to find a Tach-Dwell meter. My dad threw all his stuff away long ago.

If anyone has one that may hit the can because you do not have anything with ignition points contact me.
