Pinto Enthusiasts:

Did you all see the 1971 Ford Pinto trunk model for sale on EBAY, in Escondido, California?  There is no reserve on it, and it's sold with a bill of sale only. It has about 7 hours left on it.  It looks very restorable, and it's only at just over $200.00 now.  The seller will deliver within 25 miles.  Anyway, just wanted to put it out there, if you hadn't seen it.  Wish I lived closer, I'd probably buy it.  Larry :police:
Had a 1971 trunk model in High School, wanted another for old times sake, just purchased another in Washington State, very nice restore project.  I also own an all original 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout, one owner, always garaged, with 33,000 actual miles.  Life is SWEET!!!!

Actually I eyeballed it when it was on craigslist. Escondido is only about 10 or 15 miles away. They were asking $250 on CL. I had fleeting dreams of a total restore, the icing being sparkly hot pink paint and a V8 or turbo 4-banger. Mmmmm.... but first things first- the Baby must come first.

In fact I had let my imagination go a little wild. I was actually thinking of making a sleeper out of Pink Pony just to drop a few arrogant jaws. Who's going to suspect a chickie in a (ugh!) pink Pinto might have a few muscles under the hood? Ohhh what a dream...
