Weird Coincidence:  I live in CA.  Bought my V8 Pinto from PintoPaul in Idaho and needed to sell my BMW K1200LT to make room for it in the garage.  It just sold it on ebay...to a guy in Idaho!

T/C intakes are they interchangeable?
« on: January 18, 2012, 10:05:42 PM »
85-86 Tbird turbo intakes are non intercooled,  87-88 are intercooled,  my question is being that the 87/88 upper intake looks like it is lower and closer to the valve cover,  this being the case I was thinking of using an 87/88 upper intake and mate it with an 85/86 lower .  Will they bolt up , for better hood clearance, the reason I'm asking is  because I have an 87/88  upper intake and throttle body located , but have to buy it first before I could actually see if is do able.  Yea for Ebay

Should bolt up, you'll need the 87/88 valve cover as it has a step down for the lower intake.
