Swap V6 to 2.3
« on: August 20, 2012, 10:03:19 PM »
I looked at a few posts, would it correct that to go from a V6 to a 2.3 all I have to use is pinto 2.3 engine mounts? The crossmember and
stools are the same?  I did find that the bellhousing is different too, this is not an issue.
   Thanks

I'm unsure if the throttle cable is long enough & the V6 radiator has the outlets in the wrong place.
'73 Sedan(Pro Street 2.3Turbo eventually)
'76 Wagon driver(big plans ahead)
'80 hatch(Restoring to be my son's 1st car)
