I was wondering if there was any way to tell if my pinto was recalled and fixed.  cause i have a 76 runabout, and i dont really wanna die in a flaming wreck, so i'd like any help i could.

the best way to tell is that there will be a cover over the front of the gas tank. if that's there it's most likely been done.
barring that Ford dealers should be able to tell you from your VIN
