2 days before we're "eclipsed", and the Light will dim across the land. As big a deal as Haley's comet and then some :o

I have over 100 Nascar tee shirts in my shop in NW Arkansas for sale. I could not give them away for free. Could not sell them at $1.00 each.

Pintosopher, you are exactly right. The cost at the track is too much. Good to enjoy once in a while but not on a regular basis.

Why would any couch potato want to pay too much for tickets, Buy overpriced food, and wait to use the Facilities when nature calls? It's so much more convenient to just order in and fire up the Digital broadband, and you can pause to use the Bathroom in your own house. Smellovision coming soon to en

I think the cruddy racing at the Brickyard and the novelty of racing there has worn off more than NASCAR being in trouble. Not saying it's not, just saying it's not a good race to see in person at that facility

paint type on doors and dashboard for 1971
« on: April 17, 2017, 09:18:08 PM »
Hi all, I getting ready to put my '71's interior back together and I want to paint the dash board and the inside door metal. It looks like the dash is a semi-gloss or flat black, but the door trim looks to be a bit more shiney. Has anyone  re painted the dash or inner door metal?  I'm thinking of doing it with a spray can. can anyone help here.   Thanks,   Chris

Years ago I changed the radio bezel on my 79 wagon to the early metal type so I could install a din style radio.  I bought a can of black interior paint for a 65-68 Mustang and it matched almost perfectly.  When I get around to doing my 73 hatch, I will do the same thing.

Thx Tigger, I'm in need of black dash paint as well.  Was going with satin black but now I'll get mustang interior paint for a better match

From a previous post about the restoration of my cruising wagon:
For those of you with a black interior a perfect match for the factory semi flat black is SEM 39144 trim paint, it also comes in spray cans for those without a gun and an air compressor.
This paint is available from most well stocked auto supply stores.
