Does anyone know where I can get hold of the early metric threaded main jets for the Holley 5200 carbs?
My motor, a 2.3 needs a larger secondary main jet.
thanks Fred

Use the old Esslinger trick of putting the stock secondary jet in the primary side, then drill the primary jet 2 # sizes larger than the original secondary size. I ran my 2000cc this way for years with much better performance. You'll just have to get an index of numbered bits. JT

Got over the problem.
As the main jets are metric then the the two jets are numbered 142 and a 132. This means for instance that a 142 is in fact 1.42 millimeters in diameter. I bought a set of numbered drills from Harbor Freight, printed out a coupon from their web site and got all 60 drills for only $9.99.
I sized up the drills in the jets and carefully drilled just one out using the next size up drill. I put the undrilled jet back in the primary side, the 142, and drilled the 132 with a drill that measured 1.47 millimeters and put it in the secondary.
The car always ran well low down but nesded more gas when the revs got up.
Seems a bit better.

Tap out the carb body and use Holley jets.
