Well my heater core is leaking out through the heater assembly and i would like to try to replace it without taking out the heater assembly, is this possible? I looked at all those tabs that hold the 2 peices of the heater assembly together and it looks like it will not be able to replace the heater core without taking the heater assembly out. What a pain in the a**, any ideas on how i might make this a little eadier on my 73 Pinto and myself would be appreciated. Thanks.

well ill give it a try , and ill let ya know how it goes when i get it accomplished, thanks for the help, im gonna need it!---ouch.
