Mustang roll bar in a Pinto??
« on: October 19, 2003, 04:47:53 AM »
I had forgotten that yesterday at the junk yard I noticed a 6 point roll bar in a Mustang II.  I was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit in my Pinto wagon?
Thanks

Yes it will! Grab it up they are the same. Go to Summit and look up a cage for the Pinto and you'll see Pinto/Mustang II.

It was welded in and upon closer inspection it looked pretty ratty. The welds werent too good. So I didnt bother with it.

I got both my kits from Chassis Eng. There's a local dist. so I didn't have to pay the $80 shipping!
*74 Turbo 2.3 Pinto
*77 351w Turbo Pinto (still in the works)
