Electric Fuel Pump
« on: April 01, 2008, 10:59:45 PM »
I have a 1923 Track T running a 1978 2.3L with a 2-barrel carb.  There isn't enough clearance behind the side hood panel to clear the fuel pump hose.  I want to replace the stock mechanical pump with an electric pump but don't know what to use.  What PSI and GPH do I need for this setup?  Any suggestions on sources or specific pumps?  Also, where can I get a block-off plate to replace the stock pump?

Thanks!

I think that most carbs on stock eng. only need 5-7psi   I don't know about GPH!

I think you should look at this post about cut off switchs

Does anyone know of a source for a block-off plate to replace the old mechanical fuel pump?

Are you selling these or, if not, where do you buy the billet aluminum?

They also come factory installed on the fuel injected engines.
