Weird Coincidence:  I live in CA.  Bought my V8 Pinto from PintoPaul in Idaho and needed to sell my BMW K1200LT to make room for it in the garage.  It just sold it on ebay...to a guy in Idaho!

Thank you for the welcome.

I have recently purchased a 73 wagon and sent it straight to the bodyshop.

I have a 64 ranchero donor vehicle for the 302 c4 and 8" rearend...i know 302 isnt original 64 stuff but the car is 5-lug.

I did this swap when i was a teenager on a 74 wagon. I know there are differences between the two that will make this one more complicated but i have more experience now so i figure it is game on!

After finding this car and buying it i found pictures of it on oldparkedcars. com...kind freaky..

Thats my car online before i bought it...heh

More about the car and the plans to violate it...I mean alter it.

Currently:

Totally stock except stereo in the dash.
Everything works!
Picked up the car and drove it 45 minutes on the freeway at 70 after it had obviously sat for a long time. Come to find out it drives like a new car!
the 2.0 really runs good!!

Future Plans:

Already in the body shop to freshen up the paint to the original color...but... plans are to add boss 302 stripe kit on it once i get hood figured out for v8 swap. Why in the body shop before figuring this out? My best friend owns a body shop and he will be able to match the paint later on the hood when it is ready. So it's six here and half dozen there...

removing roof rack since the top of this car is straight as an arrow.

tint windows

freshen up interior (seats, headliner, visors, carpet....etc. .etc.) Luckily it has a perfect dash in it.

update the frontend to MII so i can pop on the $29.95 5-lug hub/rotor combo from speedway. (probably just graph a complete MII IFS under it)

mild 302 with c4 and 9" or 8.8 once i find one that works, will start with an 8" for now though.

Newer mustang bullitt wheels and tires...

Thats where i would like it to end up...
