Weird Coincidence:  I live in CA.  Bought my V8 Pinto from PintoPaul in Idaho and needed to sell my BMW K1200LT to make room for it in the garage.  It just sold it on ebay...to a guy in Idaho!

I ordered a brand new 1971 2000cc Pinto with a four speed stick and it was black on black with with white/black houndstooth cloth inserts in the seats.  I went in in April of 1971 and ordered  a special option where they had two thick white stripes on the hood and trunk deck but after I had given my deposit they said that option was not available.  I ended up getting a black one without any stripes and needless to say I have a special connection with Pinto's.  I even worked at Bendix Corp and machined the front calipers in St. Joseph MI.  I put 130,000 miles on that car between 1971 and 1976 and had no trouble with it.  Not many people can say they have as close a connection with any car as I do.  I am very proud......
