It would be nice to see my squire on a calendar but I will be happy with anything. I liked the idea of having a seperate page/section for junkers as well

Here are some photos of my recently aquired 1974 Pinto wagon for consideration in the 2010 Calendar. It's a 2.3L 4-speed. Very original, a tad over 99,000 miles, and in very good shape for its age. It drives well and gets a lot of thumbs up from local drivers. Joe In Morgan Hill, CA
1971- 289 V8; B&M C4; 9" with 4:11 posi. Several suspension upgrades and body modifications.
1974- 2.3L wagon,4-spd,totally stock. Medium lime yellow, avacado interior, 99k miles.
1972- 1984 Mustang SVO turbo; 5-speed tremec; 9" rear w/positraction; fiberglass front & doors; upgraded suspension.

Yes Sir!!! I'd like to submit a couple of photos for the 2010 calendar.  These pictures are of my 1971 Ford Pinto Trunk Model.  I purchased this car thru fordpinto.com, from Reed in Washington State back in November 2008.  The car after weeks of shipping, finally arrived in Muncie, Indiana in January of 2009. This 1971 has been thru a lot of restoration, including all new interior and a new paint job on the outside.  A lot of mechanical work has been done, and this car was in it's first show a week ago.  What's great about this car, and why I wanted it, is it's exactly like the 1971 Ford Pinto Trunk Model I had during my High School years back in the early 70s.  I love this car, and I think it'd be a great addition to your calendar.  I just hope I'm not too late for the entry.  Have a great day!!!! Oh yeah...you probably know already, but in case you don't, if you double click on the photos, they will get larger.  Thanks.  Larry :police:
Had a 1971 trunk model in High School, wanted another for old times sake, just purchased another in Washington State, very nice restore project.  I also own an all original 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout, one owner, always garaged, with 33,000 actual miles.  Life is SWEET!!!!

Awww Kimmy! Thank you. My Baby... I miss driving her sooooooooooo much.  :'(  I would love for one or both of my Pinto babies to make the PCCA calendar. I don't think my camera's up to par though (4.0 megapixels). If it is, then I'd better get to stepping.  ;D

Just wondering! Is there still going to be a calender for this year? If so, I was counting all the cars (1 per person) and I counted only 11 cars! I guess one of the months could be a colage of all of the pics submitted, including the ones that belong to us that have more then one Pinto!!

I don't know it was done in the past, so it was just a suggestion.

Figured I better bring this up, since the calender should be thinking about being put together soon.

You have the original in it's full size right? If so then it should work!!  I'm not positive on how things work but I think the person making the calender needs the original pics in there original size. THat way the calender comes out crisp and clear!!

Guys-

I recieved a PM from Frank- the 2010 calendars will not be created as I'm sure you have already surmized. There is not time & other factors to get them done this year.

Stay tuned for next- I'm apologizing for Frank...

I had a feeling this would be the case. Just haven't seen Frank around lately. Because of my feeling, I got to thinking. If every one that has submitted a photo in this thread, would send me their original full size image, I could possible work on a calender using the cafepress! Then I think once I get the pics uploaded to them, I can give a link to the finished project and you all can go there to buy it, again, I say I think!!! I have never done one, but I know I can make t shirts at zazzle.com and share them with others to buy! So maybe cafepress is the same! As of now there are 12 cars submitted. So if I recieve more then 12, I would probably make a collage of Pintos, or maybe put 2 Pintos in the same month. So as long as that fly's with everyone, I could see this working out!!

That is, if it is ok with Scott that we do this? I don't think it will make the site any money. Maybe the ones that buy the calender, could make a donation to the site??? Is there a place we can make donations?? That would be an honor thing though, so hopefully all would donate!

If we get the ok from Scott, you all would need to send me your pics asap! I would like to try to start this project in the next week or 2. Would like to have it done by sometime before Thanksgiving!!

You could also use Print Pelican  http://www.printpelican.com/
I did our NEDRA Calendars last year there.  You just need to make sure you submit the images in CMYK color format (because thats what the 4- color ink printers use.

Should not take that long once you have all the images.  They even have online submittal for all the materials.  I ordered Qty 500 and broke even after 1/2 of them were sold.  Just going from year old memory I think they came out costing ~$9 each and we sold them for $20.

Maybe with a smaller order we could just buy/sell them at cost.  I don't remember if Print Pelican would host the sales too or not.  Be worth a call to them.

And if you want the full res versions of any of the Electric Crazyhorse Pinto, would be happy to share.

I think cafepress is a buy it from them only place. Meaning I can make the calender through them but I will not make a profit, and I don't want too. So all money would go to cafepress. I don't want to get to involved with how to submit the pics to the place like you describe with the Pelican place. Cafepress you just upload a pics, and "build" the calender! Pretty basic. May not be the best, but it would be a calender for us all!!

What I would ask of all of you, is to choose your best or favorite pic, and send me that one pic. So I would end up with hopefully 12 good pics to work with. I'm just going to save your pic to a folder on my computer, then upload them to the cafepress's calender building site. Should be pretty easy! In fact, if Scott doesn't approve of this, I will probably make one of just my cars! I have had 11 Pintos total, so I just need on more month! LOL

Here is an example of what I will do for the calender!

So when you send me your images, include what the car is and any additional stuff you may want me to write in the pic!!!

As soon as we get the big OK from Scott I will start, so send pics now if you want. I can always delete them if Scott is not cool with this!!

Oh, and if it is ok Scott, I would like to use the PCCA logo for the front of the calender, or atleast have it on there somewhere. I haven't figured out what I want to do exactly for the front! Just figured I'd get the ok, just in case!! LOL

Ok guy's, send you original size image to my email in my profile!! We got the green light from Scott. The sooner you get them in the better.

I'm not going to do a voting thing. I figure maybe the first 10 that email their photos to me (I already submitted mine to me) LOL will get a full page of the calender, all others would be on a collage in one month. That way everyone should have a car in the calender. I think what I am going to do is once I get all the submissions, I will put them into a hat, except an orange and red and possibly blue or white Pinto, and draw names for each month. If there is only one orange Pinto, I will use it for Oct. If only one red, it will be Dec. Blue or white will be July!! If more then one of those colors, I will draw their names first, then throw the losing names into the general month hat!! Make since?

Anyway, reason I'm not doing a vote is, 1. I figured not many have put pics in this thread. As of now, there are enough to do pretty much the whole calender with no problems. 2. It is a bit late now! LOL

So if you all are cool with that, send me your best pic of the car you want to use! If I find we don't have enough, I will post a request for you multiple car owners to send me a pic of a different car!

Becky, Do you have any good pics? If not I will use the one I submitted in the thread for you!! If you have a better one, send it to me. I remember you saying something about not having a great camera!!
