1976 (non hatchback) pinto (90% complete project)

View More Pictures
Description: For sale here is a project pinto that has well over $20,000 invested into (not counting labor costs for significant amounts of body work). The car is a 1976 pinto (non-hatchback). It has been in my family since 1983 when we bought it. In 2005-2007 the car had tons of body work done with the plan to ultimately build it into a street legal turbo pinto. Upgrades and work is listed below but it is far too extensive to include everything. The engine build alone is worth well over 8k (the Esslinger aluminum head alone is worth about $2,000). With the parts listed the anticipated output of horsepower was planned to be about 400hp easily. I can post more pictures if needed. This was a project car that my father and I worked on together and it would make a great father/son project for someone to finish since 90% of the build is already complete. I have tons of spare and replacement parts as well as receipts and emails regarding how/what I built into this car that go with it. I have all the glass stored separately and new windshield seal and rubber. I have saved every part that came off this car and it will be included in the sale. Contact me if you are serious and would like to come look at the car (in San Antonio Texas). I am also willing to part with the body and the engine separately if the price is right.
