If interested I have a 79 wagon in VERY GOOD shape no engine or trans. I don't want to scrap it so I have it in storage. I will sell the whole car to someone or strip it for parts for anybody that needs it like, fuel tank. Let me know if you need anything. I am in NC
September 23, 2012, 07:14:55 PMJust a word of caution. Ebay has a few sellers advertising Pinto fuel tanks. However they list them as fitting all pintos. Which is incorrect. Earlier pintos had smaller capacity tanks, and wagon tanks are different than runabouts or sedans. For example 1980 pinto sedan tanks were 13 gallons and wagon's were 14 gallons..........must be some difference?. Check with Fred Morgan, he might have something or know if you can use a sedan tank. Maybe the best way to go would be to repair yours. Good luck
