Um, I think it starts may 17th at Martinsville. Bristol got canceled  because of construction.

Attention Stampeders! Bristol Motor Speedway has cancelled all  operations through July. They will be resurfacing the track and the Stampede will now start  in Ridgeway, Virginia with our 1st stop at the Wood Brothers Racing complex in Stuart, VA.

That is correct, Bristol was cancelled because they decided to tear up the track and repave it without any notice.  We will start in Martinsville.  Please check here for the latest updates and information. http://www.pintostampede.com/theplan.htm

Please let me know where and when you plan to attend.  Last year we cancelled hotel rooms on a Stampede late entry who just showed up and took a few rooms under the block reserved for the Stampede.  We had no information on the name and got the rooms released to Stampede members who needed the rooms.  Luckily the hotel had a last minute change and they were allowed to stay.  I will do my best to accomodate everyone, even those who make a last second entry or show up unannounced, but please help me make my job easier if you can.  Just send an email, it is not that hard.  Places like Martinsvile need to know a head count and if things change I will have no way of contacting you not knowing you are even a participant.  There is no fee to attend, but there is a disclaimer you must sign when you join that states you have insurance and are responsible for your car. You do not have to ride the whole way, we have others coming for part of the drive.  You are more than welcome, shoot me an email at bosspinto@pintostampede.com I can get you a copy of the itinerary, the maps, estimated times of arrival, etc.
