I've posted the itinerary in another place & I'll post it here too because it just makes sense LOL

Itinerary:

Friday:
6PM "Early Bird" Meeting at Western Sizzlin' Steak House. This will conclude whenever we decide we've had enough of each other's company. Afterward, we go do what our families want to do.

Saturday:
11AM-12PM Brunch at Shoney's for a "Meet & Greet" This is informal, I made no reservations, so we'll just watch the windows & I'm sure SOMEONE has Pinto apparrel to distinguish our little group!
12PM-1PM Photos &"people's choice" judging for awards at the NASCAR Speedpark. I plan on group photos of the cars, owners & both together. I also would like individual photos of each car & it's owner.
1PM-6pm Fun & games at the NASCAR Speedpark COST: $20.95 Adult $12.95 child/senior While there I'll tabulate the votes from the judging & fill out the certificates. There are snacks available in the park.
6PM-? Dinner at the Nascar Cafe. We'll be seated as a group, & we'll have a chance to "bench race" & get to know each other much better. Around 7PM I'll start giving out the awards I think Pintony has prizes as well TONY>>> E_MAIL ME!! once the party ends we'll go our separate ways so you can find things to do & places to spend your $$$ LOL

Sunday:
11AM-12pm Brunch @ Shoney's again (hey who can argue with good food CHEAP)
12pm Convoy to Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg (less than 15mi) This is possibly a congested trip. If you have cooling issues My wife will be at the tail end of the convoy with water, oil & trans fluid. A Taurus wagon makes a good "support vehicle".
1PM-5pm Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies This is a self guided tour & we can stay as a group. There are also snacks available inside. COST: $17.95 Adult $9.95 Child
5PM Convoy back to Pigeon Forge. If it was badly congested going into Gatlinburg, I intend to bypass the downtown area to save the "thermally challenged" any troubles. We'll decide this before we go into the aquarium.
5:30pm? We'll caravan to A&W Drive In where We'll have a hamburger dinner & most likely feild questions from curios onlookers! The A&W is a classic "Drive In" resturant. From the looks of it we'll be close to filling the place with Pintos! This should end early enough to let everyone go do whatever.
PLEASE REMEMBER THESE TIMES ARE STILL OPEN FOR DEBATE except the Speedpark there ARE reservations there.

Hopefully I've left enough "free time" for everyone to enjoy the smokies & surrounding areas. I''m proud of the area I live in & I hope everyone will have the opportunity to explore & enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

I've had a request for a trip to Cades Cove Historic Loop. This is an approximately 15mi loop through a historic community. The settlement dates from the 1700's-1890's. This is a very nice side trip, however it's done at 5-15mph. I don't reccommend it for the "thermally challenged" cars, including mine. This is why I decided to cut it from the itinerary. I'll add it back if there's a demand though.

Ok Cades cove isn't "officially" on the itinerary. Anyone who wants to go, I'll definately give directions to.

DADGUMIT! Here it is the eve of the greatest Pinto meet, & my Lil' Horse is wounded!!! I need a starter & with $$$ being what it is, I may not be able to get one! I'll be there If I gotta BORROW a car!! My Pinto coming depends on some $$$ owed to me by our Uncle Sam, so I'm not real confident. Ya know with so many nieces & nephews you'd think our Uncle Sam would be more reliable!

Our illustrious Webmaster has CONNECTIONS! He's arranged with the Knoxville news station to have our Pintos on TV! If Scott will tell us which day the station wants us there I'm SURE we can change our schedule to accomodate the news crew. One little thing though.... we need at least 4 cars & drivers to show. (I'm still wondering if I'll have mine fixed, but I AM trying!) I don't think it'll be a problem to get 6-8 cars there... how bout you?? Can we bury the TV station in Pintos?

Dang it crazyhorse. It's 9pm and if I had known it sooner I would have run up to my parts car and snatched the starter off it fer ya. But it being dark thirty I bet the snakes might get mad at me. I would have brought it with ya.

Unless a new starter doesn't fix my Pinto, it'll be there. I'll be there with or without it! As for being in KnoxVegas by 5:00 no way Jose!! TV or not,I simply can get that far that fast. (you know physics & all) I'll STILL be at Western Sizzlin @ 6pm though to greet earlybirds.
